Calculation Details

Identify for each hydrological year the flow events below the 25th percentile of the whole daily flow record. Calculate the mean duration of these flow events for each hydrological year. Calculate the standard deviation and the mean of these mean values. Multiply the former by 100 and divide the result by the latter.
